Hey there! I'm Katie.
Founder, party planner, NICU nurse turned memory-maker, and mom of three.

I'm the creative brain (and glitter cleanup crew) behind The Sleepy Teepee Co. I'm also a wife to Keith–retired Coast Guard veteran and master of dad jokes–and mom to three incredible girls: Autumn (10), Ellie (8), and Emma (21 months). Our days are filled with chaos, crafts, cupcakes, and a lot of love.

The Sleepy Teepee Co. was born when Autumn asked for a rose gold sleepover for her birthday–and I went all in. Seeing the joy on her face made me realize I wanted to bring that magic to other families too. Before this adventure, I spent 15 years as a NICU RN, celebrating tiny but mighty milestones. That experience taught me to find the magic in everyday moments–and now I help families celebrate those moments in the sweetest way possible.
Why I Do This

Because childhood should feel magical.
Because moms deserve to enjoy the party too.
Because the small milestones matter just as much as the big ones.

Whether it's a sleepover, spa day, patch party, or paint fun, I create intentional, joyful, stress-free celebrations that kids will talk about for years–and parents will actually enjoy. I also have a special place in my heart for NICU grads and kids with medical or sensory needs, and I love creating welcoming, sensory-friendly spaces just for them.
